One of the accomplishments that
should be mentioned and that we are all proud of, is the
contribution of the faculty of pharmacy- Alexandria
university in the academic supervision, and in establishment
of the faculty of pharmacy- Beirut Arab university.
Beirut Arab University is a Lebanese private establishment for
high education, it was founded by “Alber wa Alehsan association”
in 1960, with support from Alexandria University.
Prof. Dr. El-Sebaeey Ibrahim the dean of the faculty of pharmacy-
Alexandria university at that time was assigned to make the list
of rules for the faculty of pharmacy- Beirut Arab university,
and Prof. Dr. Abdul Azeem Habib (pharmacognosy professor in the
faculty of pharmacy- Alexandria university) was the first dean
for the faculty of pharmacy- Beirut Arab university (1968-1988)
, and only 55 student were accepted that year.
Many of the staff members of the faculty of pharmacy- Alexandria
University have taught there, & have supervised the postgraduate
students in the faculty of pharmacy- Beirut University.
And since the opening of the faculty of pharmacy, 12
classes have
graduated, and till now many of our staff members teach there.
Many of our staff members have been deans for the faculty of
pharmacy- Beirut Arab University, and they are:
